15 young monks currently reside in Shamar Rinpoche’s Zimchung Monastery in Rumtek, They are under the responsibility of Khempo Lekshe and all attend Pioneer Preparatory School in Rumtek in order to receive a solid basic education that will enable them to then pursue their studies and be in a position to choose their future. Tibet Save & Care, with the approval of Jigme Rinpoche, contributes to the cost of their education and living.
